Set a target price on a product and MarketRada notifies you when a matching vendor listing hits your price. Alerts are delivered through your configured in-app notification channels.

Vendors and service providers enjoy a 30-day free trial after registration. After the trial, a ₦1,200 first-year subscription (paid via Paystack) keeps your shop or services visible on MarketRada. Each annual renewal is ₦600/year. If unpaid, your listings are paused — not deleted. Pay at any time to reactivate instantly.
Refer a vendor or service provider: earn ₦200 when they pay their first subscription, then ₦100 on each renewal — credited to your MarketRada wallet.

Price comparison
Search once and MarketRada shows offers from different vendors. Compare price, distance, stock status, and shop trust badges side by side.
Looking For requests
If search does not find what you need, post a Looking For request. Signed-in vendors and service providers can respond with their price and availability.
Escrow for delivery orders
For wallet-paid delivery orders, MarketRada holds payment in escrow. The vendor is paid after you confirm delivery, or after the auto-release period if no dispute is opened.
Trust badges on shops and services
Vendors and service providers can earn visible trust badges after identity verification (BVN/NIN), optional CAC business registration review, or professional licence review. Badges such as KYC Verified, CAC Registered, and Licence Verified appear on shop and service pages after admin approval.
Collective buying
Buyers join a pool for the same item, pay their share into wallet escrow, and collect from a registered collection point when the pool completes. Collection point Store Charges and any late storage fees are paid directly to the agent in cash or transfer — see the fee schedule below.

- Collection fee is paid per package unit to the collection point agent in cash or bank transfer at pickup. Multiply by your share count when you order multiple units (e.g. 10 tubs of yam).
- Storage fee applies per package unit per day only after the pickup countdown expires. It is also multiplied by quantity.
- MarketRada does not collect these fees — they go entirely to the collection point operator.
- Pool creators select which package tiers apply. Each member chooses the tier that matches their package when joining.

Warning: Never pay vendors directly
Never pay vendors directly via bank transfer or cash when transacting on MarketRada. Direct payments are not protected by MarketRada escrow. You will have no recourse if the vendor fails to deliver.
- • Identity verification (KYC): Vendors and service providers verify identity using BVN + NIN checks before unlocking trust badges.
- • Business registration (CAC): Verified vendors may submit CAC registration for admin review; approved shops can display a CAC Registered badge.
- • Professional licence: Service providers may submit industry licences for admin review; approved profiles can display a licence trust badge.
- • Trust badges: KYC, CAC, and licence badges are shown on shop and service pages — they reflect platform review outcomes, not self-asserted claims.
- • Escrow: Wallet payments are held until delivery confirmation or auto-release (7 days after delivered status if the buyer does not confirm).
- • Payments: Wallet deposits and subscription payments are processed through Paystack.
- • Reviews & Disputes: Admin workflows and audit logs support dispute resolution.
- • Data Protection: PII (BVN, NIN, CAC documents, licence documents, phone, email) is encrypted at rest.
- • Contraband Screening: Product names and "Looking For" requests are scanned against our prohibited-items list before publishing.
- • Content Moderation: Automated safety checks and human review help flag potentially unsafe or misleading content.
- • Escrow Warning: Paying a vendor directly (bank transfer, cash outside the platform) removes MarketRada's buyer protection.

Can't find a product or service through regular search? Post a "Looking For" request. It is broadcast on the platform so relevant sellers can respond with their price and availability.

Nigeria-First Advantages
We understand street-level commerce: vendors need low-friction tooling, and our table-based batch product editor helps add dozens of products at once with duplicate prevention and progress feedback. Eligible delivery and waybill orders include 7.5% VAT on the product subtotal; pickup reservations do not charge buyers VAT through the platform checkout. Wallet deposits and subscriptions are processed through Paystack. Search supports distance, price, rating, and recency sorting so buyers can surface the nearest or cheapest vendor for each query.
